The most complete cortisol-focused formula I compared

Hormoona immediately stood out because it doesn't stop at magnesium and ashwagandha. Each stick combines:

A decent calm drink—but surprisingly limited for the price

Good L-Theanine dose, but only 20 servings per bag

Nello is probably Hormoona's closest competitor. The formula contains 400 mg L-Theanine, 300 mg KSM-66® Ashwagandha, 100 mg Magnesium Glycinate, and Vitamin D3.

The 400 mg L-Theanine dose is good. But past that, the formula is fairly basic. There's no Rhodiola Rosea — Nello is built to wind you down, not to carry you through a stressful afternoon, so it skips the one adaptogen that targets stress-driven fatigue. You get just 100 mg of magnesium versus Hormoona's 300 mg. And one bag contains only 20 servings.

That was the biggest disappointment. At $39.95, you're actually paying more than Hormoona for 10 fewer daily sticks — about $2 per serving. Fine as a simple calm drink, but for daily cortisol support, Hormoona offers significantly more for the money.

More of a relaxation drink than a complete cortisol formula

Clean formula, but light on the cortisol-focused ingredients

Nectar has a clean formula, but side by side it was one of the weakest for cortisol-focused ingredients. Each packet contains 400 mg L-Theanine, 200 mg KSM-66® Ashwagandha, 100 mg Magnesium Glycinate, and Vitamin D3.

The problem? Hormoona contains twice the KSM-66® Ashwagandha and three times the magnesium. And like Nello, Nectar leaves out Rhodiola Rosea entirely — it's aimed at evening relaxation, so it does nothing for the daytime fatigue and burnout that high cortisol leaves behind.

At $43.95 for 30 servings ($1.47 per drink), you're paying more per serving than Hormoona for fewer core ingredients and noticeably lighter doses. Good for general calm. Underwhelming if cortisol support is why you're buying.

The most expensive—and the hardest formula to judge

Long ingredient list, but key doses hidden in a proprietary blend

Harmonia has the longest ingredient list — Ashwagandha, Rhodiola, L-Theanine, Phosphatidylserine, Inositols, Turmeric. At first glance, impressive.

Then I checked the label. The most interesting ingredients sit inside a 2,710 mg proprietary blend — so you can't see the individual dose of any of them. Harmonia is the only competitor that includes Rhodiola Rosea — smart in principle — but you have no way of knowing whether you're getting a clinically meaningful amount like Hormoona's 300 mg, or a token sprinkle.

That matters when the product costs $91 for 30 servings — $3.03 per drink, nearly two and a half times Hormoona's daily cost — with only 50 mg of magnesium versus Hormoona's 300 mg. When I'm spending $91, I want to know exactly how much of the key ingredients I'm taking.

Hormoona Was the Clear #1

After comparing the actual labels, Hormoona was the easiest choice.

Nello gives you a decent calm formula—but only 20 servings. Nectar is really a relaxation drink with just 200 mg of KSM-66®. Harmonia costs $91 and hides its most interesting doses inside a proprietary blend.
